My favorite movie of all time...

*drumroll*

FIGHT CLUB

Yours?

Oh yeah... I'll add the LOTR series... donno' how I forgot 'bout those.

EDIT: Actually, I kinda' can't, lol. Could a mod do that for me, possible? Please? GhostValkyrie? Rec?! Chris?!?! *calms down*

Can't say just yet. Fight Club is one of my favorites (My sig is from it)..but I still have to see revolutions to judge if Matrix series takes the cake.

I've heard that Revolutions wasn't that great... I'll be seein' it this weekend though, hopefully.

I know someone is going to mention Pie too.

The first Matrix was great, the second was...well a bit of a disappointment. Ever since Star Wars Episode 1 & 2 Star Wars seems to have lost my interest. Fight Club was a great movie, but it's not a movie you can watch over and over again.
I'm going for Resident Evil, love that movie, have watched it 10 times over and keeps on getting my complete attention.

I disagree. I've watched Fight Club a ton of times. I still find it funny and cool.

Lol.. the first time I saw it...I missed the hotel room scene... Needless to say..I was confused.

was resident evil really that good? video game movies are never good
i really liked fightclub alot, but i liked matrix 1 more, but i didn't like matrix 2, so i chose fightclub

It was a great movie, it's not really my favorite, but I can always enjoy a good horror/zombie movie. I didn't really like that mutant monster thingy majic in the end though. BTW there is a teaser for Resident Evil: Apocalypse on www.re2.com

Too late to edit my post

Let's make this a little more interesting. What is your favorite movie that nobody or very few people have heard of.

Mine: Boondock Saints or Equilibrium - Many people on these forums have seen both, but I've found that this type of crowd see's those kinds of movies.

Another - Spun. A movie about people addicted to meth. It has some crazy directing. They have like 6 cuts for a car starting. They set the record for most film cuts in a movie. The movie is generally funny too.

Three colours trilogy. Very obscure, ver french, very good.
Apocalypse Now and (after yesterday night) The Matrix Revolutions are my favourite films. Honestly, its really good. Much better than the weak second film.

i forget! crouching tiger!! best movie ever! and yeah i reeeeeally liked equilibrium :)

Momento was pretty awesome. Anybody else see that one?

The Dead Trilogy by George A. Romero I don't know how hard it is to get them on DVD in other parts of the world but finding 'Day of the Dead' on DVD took me well over 3 months of searching.

Oh, when RE2 comes out, Marilyn Manson better do the musical score again. It f*ckin' kicked ass and went perfectly with the whole movie.

I like his music anyways, but it was even better when put into Resident Evil.

Memento was great. The story really took me in. Gotta watch that one again. I really felt sorry for the guy and his mad quest for vengance.

The film begins where the first film left off, with ALICE in the heart of the ravaged and deadly Raccoon City. She has been subjected to biogenetic experimentation by the vast Umbrella Corporation and become genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive.

ALICE is joined by JILL VALENTINE (Sienna Guillory – Time Machine, Helen of Troy), a recently demoted member of Umbrella Corp’s elite Special Tactics and Rescue Services (S.T.A.R.S.), TERRI MORALES (Sandrine Holt - Once A Thief, Happy Hour), CARLOS OLIVIERA (Oded Fehr – The Mummy, Presidio Med), L.J. (Mike Epps – Next Friday, All About the Benjamins), and NICHOLAI (Zack Ward – Titus, Almost Famous) who must survive and escape what is quickly becoming a City of the Dead. To reach their goal, they will need to battle their way through the relentless onslaught of the ravenous undead, as well as Umbrella forces and terrifying bioengineered weapons, the most deadly of which is the colossal, heavily armed assassin, NEMESIS.

Nemesis is in this one :-x! Shiiiiiit, sounds like it's gonna' be pretty damned scary.

Yeah, you kinda' do have to watch it quite a few times though. It can be a little confusing.

Another great movie IMO was 'The Game.' I loved that movie... great twists, fresh story, great acting; just all around a good movie.

Agreed, especially the main themesong. It really freaks me out, adds a lot of spice to the movie. On the DVD there is a special about the soundeffects and the music with an interview with Manson, turns out he actually is quite intellegent also (which also surprised me Bowling for Columbine).

Yeah, Manson's actually a pretty damned smart guy. If you ever see him in interviews, he's always extremely polite, witty, intelligent, and he loves to talk. He seems like a great guy on the inside :p.

Memento was a really good movie. I like when films have their own quirks to them or when you have to think about something other than just the plot itself.

Another few movies that are among my favorites.

Pulp Fiction
Snatch - Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells is good too.

The Big Lebowski - one of the funniest movies EVER
28 days later - pure brilliance
bowling for columbine - Michael Moore is a genious
Trainspotting - really awsome druggie flick
The Usual Suspects - gotta love the end, even if you see it coming
Kill Bill - Tarantino, oh my damn...
Pulp Fiction - Seriously one of the best movies of all time...
boondock saints - SOOOO cool, makes me wanna go kill some basta'ds
12 monkeys - nice, see it if you liked 28 days later (dont let bruce willis turn you off TOOO much)

*edit*
forgot some
braveheart - can't describe it, very romantic (i'm not gay, look up the word romance)
Bullworth - I can't stop laughing
Full Metal Jacket - The first scene at bootcamp, oh my damn... the best insults EVER.
