Rather than bands im talking about invadidual musicians, here are my favorites-
Guitar- John Fruscinate (Red Hot Chilli Peppers)
The diversity of this guiatrist is just unbelivable. His skill is brillaint, from his own melodys to how he plays along with the rest of the band, he is just amazing.
Vocals- Tom Chaplin (Keane)
I cant get enough of how he puts so much emotion into his singing, you can feel every ounce of love and pain pouring from him. He can hit some brilliantly high notes aswell as sing some moody and almost thearatrical melodys.
Bass- Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers)
Never before have i heard a bassist than can make his music such and integeral part of a band. He takes an instrument that is traditionally used for simple rythm and filling in the low frequency gaps and turns it into something that does the work of about three guitars. The best bassists out there for me, no doubt
Drums- Domonic Howard (Muse)
His pounding percussion complements the sound of muse perfectly, from the apocalyptic complemantion to the start of Absolution and his lightning quick ti-titter when druming along to the song Sunburn. Druming has never sounded so good before.
Piano- Tim Rice Oxley (Keane)
Underneath the anoying synthesised sounds in Hopes and Fears is some trully beautfiull keyboarding that seems so unapreciated after Tom Chaplins vocals. To trully appreciate his music you have to learn to play it youself. He fuses musical-esque moments with a rock/pop formula to provide some beautiful melody and truly great piano solos.
