Oddball topic, I know. But they are so varied with thousands upon thousands of different kinds. What flavor is your favorite?

Mine personally, is thousand island dressing. I love the rich flavor.

I wonder where the name Thousand Island comes from anyways?

EDIT: Ahh, this is where the name comes from.

Thousand Island dressing is a variety of salad dressing most commonly made of, primarily, mayonnaise, ketchup, and a mixture of finely chopped vegetables, most often pickles, onions, peppers, and/or green olives; chopped hard-boiled eggs are also common. Thousand Island was invented as a variant upon Russian dressing in the first decades of the 20th century by Sophia LaLonde. The dressing was popularized by one of her dinner guests, actress May Irwin, who also gave the condiment its name, after LaLonde's home, the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York.

Speaking of salad dressing, anyone know of Light House Dressing? They started their business in my home town in this little restaurant on the shore a few years ago. Kind of neat.

Gibby's Salad Dressing
The other Montrealers will attest to that fact.

Honey Mustard dressing :) Great for salads

I don't like dressings, makes the salad all wet and squishy, I prefer crispy and fresh.

But the flavor man... the flavor!!

Dressings only make the salad wet and squishy if you let it sit and soak! The initial wetness is just the tasty tasty dressing itself!

My salads stay crispy fresh when I follow the instructions I saw on a video called "Retard making salad". He is a guy with down syndrome that makes awsome salad :D

Isn't that a little redundant? :P

Well it's better than saying:

It is great on a dish that contains many fruits or even chicken! Mainly it contains lettuce as that is the base of the etc etc
