Let me know some of your favorite sitcoms. As stupid as some of them are, like friends... I really enjoy alot of sitcoms. If you want, even explain why you like it!

In no particular order... mine are:

Seinfeld (Usually subtle humor, and sometimes wildly outrageous. I love it)

Grounded for Life ( This is an awesome show. I rather like the goofy family and all the funny crap that goes on. The wife is good looking, and the unusual way the episodes are constructed is pretty neat. So many good things to say about this show. You also gotta love the comedy that comes from their affiliation with the catholic church)

Fresh Prince of Bel Air (I enjoyed this one growing up)

Spin City (Hilariously funny world of politics. A true gem, especially when Michael J Fox was the main start. Charlie Sheen did quite alright, too)

Malcom in the Middle (I actually don't watch this much at all, but what I have seen, its pretty funny)

Coupling (The only british comedy I watch. The couple of episodes i've watched have been great, with all the sexual humor)

agreed

Everybody loves Raymond

The Drew Carey Show

8 Simple Rules (when John Ritter was on it)
thats all i can think of atm...

Ahhh yes... I forgot about Drew Carey Show. Great show, except when they do oddball episodes like live, or with those damn annoying 'things change' or whatever its called episodes.

Everybody Loves Raymond. I hate that show with a bitter passion. Its an unreasonable hatred too, cause I haven't given it the time of day. I just don't like it.

2 and a half men is good too...

then there is one that is right at the tip of my brain, but i cant get it to my fingers

Agreed, I didn't really enjoy it when Charlie Sheen came in. But Michael J Fox was great. If you like Spin City, watch Scrubs, its by the same writer/creator Bill Lawrence.

One of the few running sitcoms that has gone better IMO.

thats it...thanks harry

Fawlty Towers is the best sitcom you will ever see.

Seinfeld is by far the best Sitcom to have ever been made, and I think ever will be made.

There is no show like it, it was just sooo good.

Friends for reasons such as it's the only sitcom I've ever gotten into and actually taken time to watch. Moreover, I enjoy the facetiousness and the punch lines simplicity.

Nobody here likes Grounded for Life?

Seinfeld
King of Queens
Curb Your Enthusiasm
3rd Rock from the Sun
Married... With Children

Seinfeld
Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Home Improvement
Family Matters
Saved by the Bell
Malcom in the Middle

Seinfeld wins by a landslide though.

The two best shows on television today are:

Curb Your Enthusiasm

and

Arrested Development

never heard of it...what channel is it on?

It's no longer running new episodes... but reruns can be seen on ABCFM I believe.

Probably just because it's ultra popular. But seriously, give it a chance. Watch some of them. Get to know the story and what's going on. You will love it. It's awesome.

I predict in future years, it'll be looked at on a level with Seinfeld (well, not THAT good, but just under it maybe)

Oh also, another great one-
The King of Queens

King of Queens. Yeah, that's a good one :)

I also enjoyed Home Improvement too... somebody mentioned that one as well.

wow, most americans havn't heard of coupling. They did try to do an american version of it with american actors but it was complete shite.

Jeff ftw

Add to that Scrubs, Family Guy, American dad (If they count as sitcoms) And My name is Earl. Those are my favourites right about now.

You can't begin to compare the two.

Raymond was funny for the first season. And that's it. Is it still on? Gah.

Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Vicar of Dibley, One Foot in the Grave, the Office, Porridge, Open all hours...

...none of that tasteless rubbish you guys watch :p
(Only joking)

just like The Office:LOL:

Faulty Towers was great John Cleese

Yeah Coupling was good. But I didn't get to watch it much, because it's hard to watch it with your family with all the sexual humour *Talk about Awkward situations in the dildo episode*

Two pints of Larger was quite funny, shame they ended it.
American Office < British office. Gervais was just ownage for the role. Why didn't they import the British eps to america?
Uh yeah Fawlty towers is awesome purely because The humour mixed with John Cleese.
Father Ted was good while it lasted.
