Favorite Stealth Character?

Of the 3 "main" stealth characters for some of the best games, who is your favorite?

Mine would have to be Naked Snake, he's just so damn bad ass, plus all the shit he went through in MGS3. Damn.

P.S. I only put Snake, and not Naked or Solid Snake. If you want to clarify, say in a post. I didn't include different poll options because they are from the same series, and identical, anyways. And yes, if you did not know, they are kind-of different people. It's kind of a complicated history, read about it here.

Also, I didn't include "other" because I wanted it to be a poll between just these 3. I think Snake will get most votes, anyways.

He isn't as "famous" as those other 3.. I hear more people on the internet talk about JC Denton then Garrett (that's his name, right?).

Although Denton may be more popular, he wasnt really a stealth character IMO, because the player could make him anything they waanted him to be (soldier, spy, technician). Garrett was a thouroghly defined stealth character, so I expected him to be there.

I voted Sam Fisher. I was tempted to vote JC Denton, but I really don't consider him much of a stealth character. Yeah, he can sneak around and kill stuff silently, but I don't consider that to be the core of his character.

That left me with either Snake or Sam. I chose Sam because I prefer his look, his demeanor, his methods, and because unlike Snake he is not prone to existential monologues. Besides, if I really wanted to see Plissken, I'd watch Escape From New York.

You can do that stuff with Sam and Snake and Garret.. In fact Sam HAS to use tech, or else he can't do anything else to complete a mission, and in Metal Gear, they do have AK's, RPG's and the like... You don't HAVE to be stealth in any stealth game... It's kind of a dumb arguement.. Although I admit, Garret was designed to be more stealth then Denton was. But I still didn't include him because he's not popular enough..

Since i have a hatred of all things created by Hideo Kojima, i'll go with Sam Fisher in the poll. Also, Snake is a terribly mundane character.

But Garrett is by the best stealth character.

Agent 47 aint really a stealth person, more about a master of disguise and clever killing methods.

Voted Sam Fisher, since his entire persona is stealth primarily, whereas Snake is not consistantly using stealth. Plus Sam Fisher's split jump seals the argument!

Sam Fisher pretty pretty bad-ass and rugged, plus, he`s got the most leetest moves (animations) I`ve seen yet.

But I still take Agent 47 cause he just doesn`t give a ****, he`s bald (super bad-ass), the SUIT, his one-liners and of course, he can get anywhere thanks to his unmatches disguising skills amd ways of killing.

Also, about the 47 and Garret thing, I think even if I'd add them, you'd guys would still be complaining about some retard I didn't add, because that's the way it is on HL2.net, something isn't perfect - complain! Huzzah!

yeah but Tenchu is a well known stealth game (and one of the first), as is Hitman. While Deus Ex is not exactly a stealth game.

wtf? I thought Tenchu was some sort of crappy fighting game! I never played it, but judging from the name.. It's got one of those "fighty" names.. And considering I didn't even know who Rikidagnfja was until you, just now, said he's from Tenchu, he can't be ALL THAT popular.. Garret is definitely more popular then this Tenchu guy..
