So which is it?

For me it's a hard decision between TF2 and Portal...

I'm gonna have to go with TF2 just because I've been playing DoD:S quite a bit lately and the team based gameplay looks fantastic.

Hard one, but I'm going to go for Left 4 Dead. As much as jumping through portals and defying gravity is, I'm still a sucker for Co-Op.

Could L4D technically be counted as a Valve game?

If so, that. Closely followed by TF2, closely followed by Ep2, closely followed by Portal.

They're all looking to be great games which makes the choice even harder :p

Left 4 Dead is published by Valve, so I included it.

Episode One (still not given it a proper, in depth playthrough) and Episode Two.

Team fortress is a game that made up most of my multiplayer time probably in any game, mmorpg included. I remember when I first started playing Team Fortress back in Quake 1 days... I look forward to TF2 because I hope it'll be that game that brings me back and keeps me hooked like before. And from the videos I've seen, it will.

I don't care so much for Episode 2 of HL2. I haven't even played or bought Episode 1 yet.

Portal because I can't get enough of puzzle games. This just has fun written all over it.

Episode 2, but L4D looks awesome.

Team Fortress 2! I'm still a fan of TFC and this should be the first good online FPS since, uhhhh, Tribes 2?

Episode 2 and Portals hand down...
I just think that the online junkies ruin such experience of online play. Seriously, Dod: S could be so much better if intelligent people played :(

Argh! Tough question. I'm getting them all!

I'm probably looking forward to TF2 the most though. Looks like its going to be loads of fun! :D

Though I do want the others just as much really. Ep2, just cause it's ep2 :p Portal looks like it'll be a load of fun, and L4D for zombies and coop! :D Gonna be a good fall this year for games.

TF2 the most.

With all the others very close behind, but definetly with TF2 in front.

TF2 looks insanely awesome. Can't wait.

Good to see Gabe banned Bioshock in the office until Orange Box is finished....lol. Get them shits done.

Episode 2 easily, I just can't get interested in portal and couldn't care less for tf2. While i was initially interested in L4D, now it just looks more and more ridiculous for every new video. I might be alone in this, but judging from the gameplay videos I'd rather play ZM.

EP2 definately, but Portal looks very cool though. I dont know enough about TF2 to be exited about it, guess ill just try it out when I get it. L4D looks pretty awsome too.

Episode 2. Portal will be fair enough, but I really feel that its novelty has kind of worn off, even though hands-on will refresh it all somewhat. TF2 is a distant 3rd, since I'm not a fan of TFC and am currently lumbered with a very unreliable net connection. Left 4 Dead is a very distant fourth because TF2 at least intrigues me with its art-style.

Episode 2, I can't wait to continue the HL2 story and gameplay. Portal is very interesting but I'm not really all that hyped up about it, and I really have no interest in TF2(never been a big fan of TFC, and SourceForts is already my "crazy class-based combat" fix), although it looks like it's worth a look.

Never even gave a thought about Left 4 Dead.

1.Portal and Episode Two
3.Team Fortress 2

4.Left 4 Dead

Math fail. :rolling:

Episodes Two, then Portal, the Team Fortress 2, then Left 4 Dead.

Firstly EP2 because I really want to see the enhancements Valve have made to the Source engine in effect, as well as how they have handled the outdoor sequences, and naturally to move the story along.

Secondly Portal, not only because it looks fun, but because I'm intrigued as to why Valve have repeatedly said it's set in the same universe as HL2. For the purposes of making the game it's an unnecessary aspect, which means that there has to be a reason for it.

Thirdly TF2. From what I've seen so far this looks like a very slick game in terms of play, interface and design. How it plays will make or break it, but it's so different from what people were expecting that it's bound to capture peoples attention.

Finally L4D. Personally I've been a little underwhelmed by the footage so far, it kind of just looks like 4 player house of the dead, and very arcade like, where as I thought it was going to be a bit more rigorous.

Episode 2.

Quite frankly, I dont even care about the others. Im still bummed I cant get EP2 by itself and save myself some money.

They all look fantastic.

I'm tied between Portal and TF2. Both look incredibly fun. TF2 may edge out by a bit because it just looks so solid, but Portal isn't far behind and I really want it to be wildly successful. I'm also very intrigued by how they'll fit it into the HL universe.

Last would be Left 4 Dead. Footage looks good, but I'm not entirely sold. I'll probably wait for reviews.

Team Fortress 2, just because it looks so fun.
L4D coming in second because it's zombies... and co-op, game doesn't look too fun though.
Episode 2 comes in third, because quite frankly... I don't really care about HL2's storyline that much.
And Portal is last because I have zero interest in the game type.

I want them all for different reasons, though I suppose Episode 2 rises above the rest simply because it's the most story-driven. I'm the kind of person who only plays multiplayer FPS games for a short amount of time before getting bored and only returning to play them once in a full moon. Left 4 Dead will be awesome for LAN games though.

You guys are on a HL2 site, and you vote for something other then Episode 2?

Blashpemy! Blasphemy, I say! Burn them!
