(The General Chat area is looking kind of dull so I thought I would try and get a nice, long and interesting discussion going.)

Out of all the cities that you have visited/lived in which one is your favourite?

My favourite city that I have been to is Vancouver(Canada) It has nice people, beautiful scenery, it's not too big and not too small also I think the climate is perfect(other than when it rains for weeks at a time) I do have to admit that San Francisco comes in at a close second, Vancouver and San Francisco are almost equal IMO.

So please post what your favourite city is and why. Just keep in mind that you have to either visited it or lived in/are living in the city. :)

I've been to Vancouver, it was very nice and tranquil. You guys have that huge island/park with the aquarium and sights, totally awesome stuff.

My favorite city is Las Vegas. I've been there once a year since I was five to six years old. I go there for the Midway games, the arcades, and the buffets. There's also the outdoor shows and some casinos even have rides. ^_^
And when I turn 21, I might even try some of the clubs (the one is Luxor and MGM are said to be pretty wicked). I'm not the gambling type though.
My favorite casino is New York New York, with Caesar's Palace right behind it. The indoor ambience is awesome.
I just love the scenery, the spectacle of it all. And if things get too pricey, there's always the Denny's next to the Monte Carlo.

I haven't been around much, but I'd have to say Stockholm was pretty damn purdy.

Been a couple of years though.

my favorite city is San Mateo
its where i live
yay...
its good...
we get to laugh at san francisco with its visible layer of smog
its kinda 70's-80's here though...but everythings slowly getting more modern

edit: heh...711 posts
...like the store (if you can call it that) (in case you're slow)

I haven't been to many big cities....I'm just a country boy, but my favorite would have to be Huntsville.

Venice, it was the most unique place that I have been to so far. Plus the gondoleers had great sence of humour

The city doesn't necisarily have to be big and well known, just as long as you explain why it's your favourite. :)

I haven't been to a crazy amount of large cities but I like Edmonton and Toronto.

Toronto rocked, but that was awhile ago and its the furthest i've been abroad. I do like Portsmouth and Newquey and Britain though... good cities. :)

Hmmm...Málaga... I suppose when I get to Tokyo then it'll be my new favorite town...I just know it... For ****'s sake! I wanna move to Japan!

I haven't really been to many cities.. I can't think of any. The little bit I saw of Barcelona was cool.. that's just about it :P

I would like to thank you two for telling me which city you are talking about and why you like the city.
Edit: Well I'm guessing that it's probably Melbourne, Australia because you live there.

DING DING DING DING!

We have a winner!

basicly it kicks ass. I dont know i just love it.

Hmm... London, New York and... well Copenhagen is pretty nice too.

Wiena, and especially the innercity. OMG that place gives you such arrogant aristocratic feeling just walking through it.

Ive only been to 3 cities: London, Canterbury and Coventry. London and Coventry were really boring and shit so I guess I go with Canterbury but meh that really doesn't say much :P

I actually quite like newcastle :)

Good lad
Newcastle Upon Tyne is clearly the best city in the world.

I also like Edinburgh, Moscow, San Francisco, Leon(Spain), Lijiang (China/Tibet city), and Rio de Janerio.
