Personally, i love the :naughty: one... its just so cheeky, it's not happy or sad...although it does look like a guy with a monobrow.
You can use it anywhere and it still fits in.

Is hl2.net missing any smilies?... what ones would you like to see, or not see? :angel:

The afro seems to be pretty rare nowadays though. Popularity ruins everything. Oh, and I like this one - It's great at sitting at the end of posts. You could write the most offensive post and finish it with and the whole post is suddenly a joke. For example :
