Favourite weapon combos?

I was wondering which weapon combinations you guys tend to use, both when it comes to dual weapons and big rifles.

I am a big fan of using SMG in one hand and the pistol in the other, alone the weapons are useless but together they pack some major heat. :E

As for the "big" weapons, I prefer the Cov Carbine, it's a very powerful rifle, using it together with a shotgun or plasma rifle in the back makes sure you have both long range and short range.. "protection".

I loved using two Plasma rifles together. Very rapid fire.

I agree - the SMG and pistol is a very satisfying combination - great for taking out flood and pesky grunts/jackals

The plasma rifle and SMG is probably the most powerful combo - especially against elites.

I love the new zoom in rifle that fires in bursts (forget the name) aswell

i like to use a plasma rifle and a sub machine gun.

my fav combo tho, is a sniper rifle and a sword.

best combo for multiplayer= plasma pistol and SMG. Get close, hit'em with the charged plasma pistol, then withthier shield down, light'em up with the smg.

Dual wielding I like plasma pistol and rifle.

Single wep. combo's for various situations -

Sniping (sword and sniper - since there's motion tracker in ranked games...I can easily tell if someone's sneaking up on me, so no problem there)
Flag extraction/protection - (Shotgun, plasma rifle)
Just kicking ass - (dual wielding combo from above)

I agree with the Pistol/SMG combo for duel wielding, my personal favourite for single weapons though has got to be either Battle-Rifle/Shotgun, or Battle-Rifle/Sword

fav ewp combo= sword and carbine

sword owns flood and carbine owns everything cept flood
