FEAR 2: Project Origin will be coming to numerous digital distribution channels, including Steam on its February 10th 2009 release. Project Origin is the sequel to the 2005 horror hit FEAR and will throw gamers back into a world where Alma is wreaking havoc.

Thomas Gewecke, President, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution was forced by Alma to release the following statement about the digital distribution of FEAR 2.

“More and more gamers are taking advantage of digital distribution to access videogames,”. “Digital distribution is going to be an important facet of the gaming world and we are glad to be a part of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s efforts to offer additional, convenient, and flexible options for players.”

Although even the first game was repeative and the expansion packs were complete shit, there was some really good parts that I enjoyed. I also liked those puppet master characters they had in some preview vid of this one. Depending on the price on Steam, might get it.

Come to Europe! Please :)

I like the FEAR franchise. Sadly I'm having a very hard playing the game again... Remembering that something happens somewhere around you, just sort of increases the suspense extra from playing it unknowingly. (Well, for me at least)

I'm a bit worried about there being to much action packed shooter in it - with mecca-like robots to wreak havoc in etc. I'd to see way more of Alma - true horrors are the ones that you are incapable of destroying. And I can't stop sympathizing with her. They did truly horrible things to her, and now she's just paying them back tenfold. Nay, a hundred fold. But they deserve it! ;)

Perhaps some of them damn politicians who created the project can finally pay in blood... Now that'll be nice! Oh... Perhaps I'm on the wrong side here ;) We'll probably obey our orders, and try to cover for their damn mistakes. (The men behind this project are greater monsters, than the monster they created in this story the way I see it)

Halloween being right around the corner has put me in a mood to play this game again ... too bad the release is expected for February :(

Oh wow. Never got round to finishing F.E.A.R, but for what it was I was enjoying it.

Shame the game got delayed, was well looking forward to a horror game on Halloween but I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.
