FEAR 2: Reborn

Anyone bought this DLC off steam yet? It's $10 and is apparently about 2 hrs long. I'm downloading it now out of interest as it's not too expensive.

Edit: For those who don't know, you play as a replica soldier gone rogue or something like that.

Yeah I bought it. It's not bad. It's getting some good comments in the community who didn't like F.E.A.R. 2 because it feels alot more like the original.

Incidentally, have you actually played Fear 2 yet?

Finished FEAR 1 just because I had new computer to see how well it ran (pretty good, but still shit game). FEAR 2 was a bit better in my opinion. A bit more variation on the level design, but still shit. I don't see any reason of giving this expansion any of my time.

Also, yeah, I bought it, not so bad price to pay specially when I have recently replayed almost every game on my account.

Yeah, it's length is a problem. Though when you look at the Far Cry 2 and Dead Space DLC and the prices they charged, Reborn is quite a good price. I would have liked more though.

I am a huge fear fan but I am not paying for a 2 hour game no matter what the price.

The price you pay for reborn is probably the price you would pay for the same amount of game time in FEAR 2, not that bad.

It's only $10 after all, I spend that on lunch every day.

Just watched a playthrough of the demo, and it does seem more like FEAR1, I might check it out, but the ultrashort play time sucks...

I think FEAR2 wasn't worth the money, should have waited until the price had dropped significantly.

I am not sure if this was worth it either. They crammed everything from the actual game into it, but didn't really bring anything that much new into it.

Wow, that song is hilarious - sounds like a Jack Black production. On topic, if it's more F.E.A.R., I'm down. Is it available in retail stores? I'd rather buy a disk if that's an option.
