for $10 i could buy a subscription to fileplanet so i could get my own... and even if i have the key, how am i gonna get the beta?
 
The graphics are very laggy and the game is too fast, it is more like a really fast Quake 3 mixed with Counter Strike, a bad thing in my opinion. I mean, how many Counter Terrorist organisations promote you sprinting at 30 miles per hour through a building, whilst spraying wildly at the target with automatic weapons?
 
Man, so many people that dont like the game are getting it. I CANT FCUCKING WAIT FOR THIS GAME AND I CANT GET IT>>> ERRRRR!!!!:O????

I don't really like this game so if someone wants my beta key, PM me. First come first serve. Although I have already played it, so I'm not sure that you can use it.
 
I dunno how to take pics but this game is beautiful and amazing. I have been playing a while now and its just great. I love the overexaggerated bullet effects like the bullet holes and all the dust that picks up. Its really insane, all those effects just really add to the fast paced action and just make it feel a lot more real and makes you feel like your really there, getting shot at. I love it. As for slomo deathmatch complaints, I for one love it. The only times it gets annoying are when people activate it and your not near anybody (which is extremely rare). I think that these slomo effects are also the best ive seen in a game, no offense but better than Max payne and Max Payne 2. The bullets going through the air in slomo look really ****ing cool. The effects your bullets have on the environment are even cooler in slomo than in normal.
The grenade shockwave looks awesome.

A couple complaints-Plasma gun has got to go, or just cant be used as a start up weapon
There should be a setting where u can choose the number of decals to be there at once before they dissapear (i hate decals dissapearing)
The physics need to be tweaked a bit
And the "beta bugs" which every beta has need to be fixed, i dont consider this a real downside since it is a beta. The worst one though is when the player models dissapear and all you can see are their weapons. Really annoying :flame:
 
i really like it and for the guy that said its as quick as quake3....WHAAAAAAAAAT? i honestly think its really quite slow moving and the whole zoom gun accuracy and melee combat adds a new depth to it that i like...overall i think its great and very chaotic

With that kind of attitude I am going to raise the price to $15.PM for key
 
Why don't they let IGN subscribers in? :( It makes me sad...

I can wait on this one though... :) I'd be pleasantly surprised if it turned into an open beta.

I've never had that bug :P The biggest bug I've seen is sometimes objects fall through the level in corners of the level and stuff. I took pics with fraps.
 
The keys for this portion of the F.E.A.R. beta have been exhausted. Please return tomorrow for the next stage of keys to be released for this program

I get that ****ing message every day. EARLY IN THE MORNING TOO! AGHHHH!!!!

I don't see how, when it is just sprinting around the map shooting at people. It is definately hugely faster then anything like Counter Strike, Halflife2 dm or Day Of Defeat.

Kinda off-topic...but when you sign up for an FP account, cancel it a few days later. They'll offer to lower the price by 50% for 3 months to get you to come back :P

it feels to me about the same pace as half life 2 dm but not quake 3 style
 
I have a great 3 picture slide show of a guy running to a mine, the mine jumping up, then exploding. Awesomeness!

Id love to post it but I dunno how.
