Fear MultiPack (Gold Edition)

I played the demo of fear, and it seemed like a fun game. I have been almost buying it since it came out, but I'm reluctant, because it gets alot of criticism here.

Well, maybe a week ago the store now carries Fear + the expansion pack combined into one package, I think it's called Fear - Gold Edition, and it's only $29.99. Not long ago, $29.99 was the price of the game, and the expansion was also $29.99 at this same store. So effectively, you get the expansion free with the game if you buy the gold edition.

If I liked the demo, I mean, obviously it didn't blow me away, as I didn't buy the game, but I almost did, I was waiting for a price reduction actually, and now it looks like I got it.

Think I will enjoy the game? Would you buy it if you had never played the game (other than demo)

Keep in mind, that with a PC, I don't have the luxury of the plethora of games that consoles have to choose from.

Get it.

It's a great action-packed experience... with some fairly creepy moments tossed in and it has pretty good enemy AI.

Multiplayer's nothing to write home about, but it's really fun too.

I got it of course. This game is great, thanks for the advice.

I did make a mistake though, it wasn't $29.99 for Gold, it was $39.99. Still a good deal since you get the directors cut and the expansion.

Lots of people still play online, i havent been on for a month, but last time i looked, around a thousand servers up at peak time that isnt full or empty
