FEAR Problem...

When i quit out of fear my computer goes CRAZY!
I go back to the desktop but my windows is whack. The screen flashes (liek when you change your screen resolution) non-stop forcing me to HAVE to restart my PC.

Anyhelp to this problem would be AMAZING!

Seriously, the usual, up to date drivers, and the resolution you're playing the game, is it the same as your desktop? If not try that, it's worked for me in the (distant) past.

yes i tried to update all my drivers, all were up to date, and the screen res. is the same.

this is the only game i experience this with and i play games such as BF2, COD2, HL2, CSS, DODS, etc.

Did you reinstall FEAR yet?

Try different video settings ingame?

I can't think of many other things

No harm in trying to lower the settings. Maybe your videocard doesn't like to work too hard?

Well it is a Geforce 7900 GS 256mb.... it should WANT to work hard ;D

Did you patch the game? I don't really know if any graphical compatibility issues were handled with any patches, but it couldn't hurt, and would probably fix some minor bugs and issues. Also, I'm not sure the 7 series was out when FEAR was originally released.
