Guys, little help here... I'm feeling a bit guilty to think that maybe I'm too old for this sh*t... Please is it possible that some of you remember playing any of these games and never stopped gaming ever since?

River Raid
Adventure
Frostbite
Space Invaders
H.E.R.O.(this one in a source engine would look great...)
Jungle Hutt
Keystone Kappers
and so many others...

Thank you for your cooperation :E

Sure, I played some of those.

Atari 2600, Arcade, commadore64. My brother has the Arcade Space Invaders.

31 cool!!!! I'm only 25 ... never mind, feeling a lot better now...

Do you remember Odyssey? I think it was the first video game system, I remember it as my first experience with video games... I remember playing ping pong and some other game that was called Atlantida or something

Do you mean Adventure Island on the NES?

Played 'em myself - actually remember when they first came out. Actually, I still own many of them in original cartridge form. We used to play Adventure like it was the best thing ever. You know what's funny to mention to younger people? I remember when there weren't enough TV shows to fill all the stations. At night, the stations would just turn off and show a test pattern the whole time until they came back to work the next day.

Aye i remember playing some of those and im only 17, yet for some reason i feel old :( :p

I played Adventure on the Atari 2600. I'm 19 years old. I think Defender was my favorite though. Outlaw and Air Sea Battle were pretty good fun too. Kaboom was fun but a little too nerve-wracking for me back then. The bombs made loud noises... and they got dropped so darn fast. :(

I also played some Colecovision games. Mostly just Looping, and this game called Turbo where you used a steering wheel component. One day the battery blew up in that steering wheel and it didn't really work anymore. It was kinda sad, since that game was really fun.

My first game experience was Pong on the Atari in the early '80s :D

Been playing games ever since!

first game was centipede on one of the first ataris
space invaders forever :D

Im 23, I was into the whole C64 thing... had like 400 games lol
everything from ghouls n' ghosts, arkanoid, arkanoid revenge of DOH, ENIGMA FORCE (love that game's theme song), to games like DUne Buggy, Forgotten worlds, Bad Dudes, Barbarian (remember how gory that was when it came out?), Paralax, etc etc.

yeah, gaming has come a long way... and I sometimes too feel Im too old for gaming... but then something new comes out and it sparks my interest at least for a little while...

if you aint already.. you may find more enjoyment in MMOS like World of Warcraft.

I think I have played Space Invaders(not on emulator), and I'm 17.

Wow, And I thought I was feeling old when I thought about games like Operation Wolf...

what abou the very first system, odyssey... ? To think that I tarted gaming when gaming started.... wow...

Adventure: was like the first RPG in a video game, u guys remeber the hero was just a square, more like a pixel LOL... awesome...

25 isn't old :| What's the average age of a gamer these days? 30?

hehe, my first games where test drive and altered destiny :D, I didnt really get into it till the old 486 came around, Im 21.

I'm 21, and still gaming strong. Don't plan really STOPPING soon. Though not playing as much might be closer than I think.
