few questions

Ok i need some help
I own hl2 and have it installed on my new computer
yesterday i installed halflife generations for the first time
Problems - steam does not recognise that i have installed them
-OpFor keeps crashing to the desktop
-When playing Opfor i cannot go back to the menu and i can only close the game using the task manager
-Opfor multiplayer will not work even with a valid code
-My computer is noticeably slower at all applications

Dell Inspiron 9100
P4 3gHz
Radeon 9700 128mb
512mb Ram

Okay, first question are you running the programmes from their .exe files from your desktop or have you installed their game content through your 'play games' list in steam? You should be playing all the games through steam as the multiplayer has been moved onto steam now, and its better on there. The only game thats not on steam in generation is blueshift.
