Try uninstalling all the versions of Firefox you have and then install the one you want.

couple features I wish they would include in FF3:

a feature I'd love is a tab recall. Often I close a tab instead of pressing back on my browser. then I have to try to remember where I was and find the page again. If I could just right click the task bar and 'recall last tab'

maybe I should suggest this on their forums or something.




the option of keeping track of browsing history or not. I'd like to visit my favorite sites and then turn it off and leave it like that. Not sure why I have 10 different google searches listed when each search was for something 1 time only.

this is probably just me not doing it right or something. I'm not sure I want anything tracking me. How about being able to delete the links individually, or select multiple and right click and delete

I'm pretty sure that when I right click on the tab bar, I see "Undo Close Tab" which brings back tabs that I've closed.

Well Giant's managed to download RC2

And the "Undo closed tab" has been in there since FF2. It was certainly a godsend when I found out about it.

In fact, I just used it 5 minutes ago.

Edit: Heh, I just did it again.

I think one of my favourite features is the password saving feature. It's far easier than saving a wrong password.

Not "few" but "relatively few" - considering how many Internet users there are, and how many are using Firefox. I know that many may have not stumbled upon this site, but still the figures don't seem that large.

Pitcairn islands. But then again, they would show up as Australian since they share a 128 KB sattelite connection in the middle of town.
