At the end of loading Windows, File checking for Hard Drive "D" commenses. How do you turn this annoying feature off?

I had that issue once when using a third party defragging app, but I fixed that by just pulling out of one of the checks. So next time you get one, press any key and it should pull out of it. Hopefully that'll break the cycle.
