I cant get it to run, I have QuickTime and whenever I click it to run it says its not a file Quicktime Understands. Can you help a brother out?

try opening it in another format (being DivX, WinAmp, wmp) or downloading a plug in for windows media player to get the vid to play?

you might need a codec.

the video is a .mov so quicktime should be sufficient if it is the latest version

divx didnt work, any idea where I could get this "codec" you speak of, and I reinstalled quicktime directly from apple. No luck, but I appreciate the help

www.divx.com Go to divx, download the "Adsupported" version. Install. Click the movie.

M8 , dno if you have fixed problem yet but...

Same thing happened to me, all u got to do is run the hl2_fulldemo_e32004.zip (the zip folder) then click on the HL2 movie, and wait a few 2-4 minutes.

Then QuikTime player will come up..press play and ENJOY!!!
