files location [help!]

where in GCFs i can find files like dialogue scripts?
and stuff like sprays on walls i've seen in hl2? some of them are mighty cool.
searched and no luck.

c:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps

you'll need a gcf viewer to extract them.

the sprays (decals) are in the "source materials" gcf folder under "root\HL2\materials\decals\" folder
not sure where the scripts are havn't explored enuff yet

dang such a noob am i, don't know how to edit this post *puts gun to head and pulls trigger* duh

anyway found your scripts files. its in the gcf entitled "source engine" go to ... HL2\scripts
