filesystem_steam.dll error

hey everyone

im currently getting a filesystem_steam.dll error when i try to compile anything in the hammer editor could anyone help ?

Hi,

I can't help but I get this when I try to run HL2,DM or Hammer directly. If I try to run source sdk nothing loads. It's been like this since the 7th.

I've tried several installs to no effect. I've tried replacing the .dll, again to no effect. I've tried running it with -engine ep1 but with no effect.

Maybe try with -engine ep1 in the shortcut line for source sdk? It works for some. Just not me at the moment
