So the final exams are here...
I study in the law school here in Kuwait, ( oh noes another Angry Lawyer D: )
and today i got 2 exams :hmph: , 9AM to 11AM and 12PM to 2PM.
and yea i know its Saturday, but its different here, weekends on Thursdays and Fridays. :bounce:

Wish me luck :bounce:

Wow, exams after winter break? My high school did that to us once, and I hated it so much. You spend the entire vacation worrying about those hard classes.

Anybody write IB history HL? (not half-life) That was something ridiculous like 5 essays in 3 and a half hours. It wasn't particularly hard or anything but my wrist hurt from writing afterwards.

well, im glad that my school only does midterm and finals...

Exams are easy. Patheticly easy. I never got the big worry or hype 'bout exams. Perhaps I'm to smart for my grade level?

May I ask what grade you are in? (I'm not putting you down, just curious)

You go to the wrong school/your school system is the shit.

We spend 6+ hours a day studying on normal non-exam days, and every single moment of time that you don't require for basic survival in the within 30days period.

Have quarter tests in all my classes next week, and SEMESTER EXAMS the week after that

is it ok to say im fried?

a week before exam week is called "dead week" because all we do is study of 7 hours... ;(

Ha, I started studying ages before my GCSEs. Thus it was quite a leisurely regime, at least by my usual disorganised digest-a-textbook-the-night-before method. Spread out over three weeks the intensive revision proved not really that intensive after all.

I have a week left for my biology and chemistry exam, its time for intensive revision.

Just had three resits of AS exams to boost my final A2 grade. Was Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, three days in a row, with work Thursday and Friday nights D:

Got an A2 Politics module on the 27th of Jan. After that will be a post-exam piss up :D

Waste of time really, GCSE's are so easy to walk through without preparation, all you need to do is turn up to the lessons, and you'll pass them all. For one thing i can't revise, it bores me...yet i passed every one of my GCSE's while laughing, only one close call with a C, in french, heh!

A-levels are killing me though, they are hard, and i hate them, but nearly finished them now...and then its Uni time :D

Ah, I have to go through high school and endure the awfulness of the national exams.... :(

And I hate that everything you do is counted on your fecking grades. I mean like: "Oh, youre late. Minus 1 point from your grade" :flame: I've counted mine from 7th grade, and it doesn't seem good for me. I will probably have to go to a foreign language high school (10th is the high school year) and forfeit the things (like science) that I really like. :( I mean, FLHSes aren't that bad, they're some of the best in the country, but I like science better than english and Korean grammar and social studies.

Everything depends on what high school I am qualified to go to. Going to a crappy high school = going to a crappy university = No job in the future = my future ruined.

Ahem. This isn't important to you guys, but I had to get it off my chest.

Got an AS English Literature exam and two AS Media Studies exams on Tuesday. All in a row. ;(

Your entire education system is shite. No offense, but its true :x

If it's really that bad, then I'd have to agree.

Me, I have a four-day weekend to review with friends, then midterm exams. I'm already set for almost all of my classes, so I'm not worried.

But that electronegativity section.. ugh, my mind went totally blank ;( meh

The HBr, HCl part and its boiling points I didn't revise, since I've never seen it come up in a paper until now. I worked it out though - sorta.

I'm suprised 3-4 definitions came up and I actually revised them.:E

Headteacher not letting any subject do January modules. Wanted it out of the way.

Why not? Thats pretty stupid. Jan time gives you a good in-sight to what you got coming up. Even if you do **** up, no harm done, you can repeat it in Summer. Hes just putting more load on you guys. Trust me, its a lot easier and better to get rid of your early exams in Jan.

I know, that's what EVERYONE else in school including all the teachers think.

Got a D in my first AS Business module last year, got an E overall in it, so needless to say i dropped it. Never grabbed my attention in the way politics did.

Anyone else study Politics A level?
