The sky is falling.
Never though I'd ever see the day Sony loses one of it's biggest exclusive franchises to M$. Guess we all should've seen it coming though, what with the poor PS3 sales and all.
The 360 version is going to be the crapper version of a crap game. Amirite?
It's a port to be done at the same time as rest-of-world localization once the Japanese are done with it with the view to a simultaneous platform release. So the 360 version will either be rushed by the PS3 version, or the PS3 version will be hugely delayed whilst they pull the 360 up to scratch. But then a game "indirectly influenced by the pace and spectacle* of Square Enix's animated film, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" has never sounded particularly promising anyway.
*Surely "goes nowhere, very quickly"?
Um, they did. :thumbs:Your assuming they just made this decision to put it on 360.
Here's the basic information we know about the U.S. release of FFXIII (for both PS3 and Xbox 360): It'll ship after the PS3-exclusive release in Japan, and Square Enix is attempting to minimize the window between the Japanese release and the North American (and subsequently, European) release. The Xbox 360 version is being ported by a different team than the core FFXIII PS3 team, and since the agreement with Microsoft has just been established, porting has, as of this moment, not yet begun.
Um, they did.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of XII. It was a good game, don't get me wrong, I just enjoy active timed battles. I wish I had a PS3/360 for this game
