Just ordered a new PC from ABS
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
ASUS K8V SE Deluxe
Corsair XMS Series 512MB PC3200 DDR400 184-Pin x2
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS 7.1
Aspire X-Dreamer II (Black) ATX Mid-Tower Case
Allied 500 Watt Aluminum Power Supply
Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA hard drive x2 set up for Raid 0

heres my question, will my 3200+ be fast enough for a radeon x800 xt? or should i settle with a pro? I read the reviews some time ago in pcgamer mag , would love to play games like farcry with AA with the little drop in frame rate

right now im using a geforce fx 5600 on my old 1.2 ghz, im gonna use that card until i can afford my new card

edit1- ok guinny thanks for the input :)

It'll be plenty fast. ;) Don't settle for anything, get what you know you want. :)

There is a big boost in gaming switching to any A64 cpu. The speed just determines how far it goes. ;)
Your 3200+ A64 will rock with those cards.

ok,thats great news! :D
Now i need some cash! I start working after my b-day (im turning 17)couldn't work when i was in school, and they wouldn't let me work when i was 16.

cant wait to play some new games
