hooray. after 3 years of wait im finaly gettin up to date. no more 2.5kb/s!!

im going with freeserve broadband. eaither 512k which is ??? kp/s???

or 2Mbps. what dl speeds could i get with these? and anyone know how much itll be a month?

60 kb/s is max (for me) You cant split it with 8 and expect it to be that fast... you have to have some other things in mind aswell

Hah, according to www.broadbandreports.com i use the #1 fastest ISP. True because my speeds are about 5000down and 900 up, and i DL at about 1mbps.

I've only got 0.5mbits, but I'll be upgrading to 2mbits soon, for about 30 american dollars a month

Brighthouse just recently upgraded the download speeds to 3mbps from 2mbps... but my upload speed was cut in half some time in the past 5 years. When I first got Roadrunner I could pull over 640kbps up but it now hovers around 320kbps. I would rather have my original speeds than 50% faster downloads and 50% slower uploads.
