It's kinda hard tbh. I'm just getting into CS, and I suck tbh. I'd like to play against people of my own suckish abilities, instead of people who've been playing since '98. Any way I could do this?

There are some UK2.net Beginner's servers, but I've always found these servers to be laggy and you have to put up with UK2.net advertising - "Are you giving money away to BT?" (something like that).

Here are some IPs anyway in case you want to give them a try:

If I remember correctly they also have a kill rate limit on them in case a good player joins and starts killing everyone.

Other than that, I'd recommend the ordinary jolt.co.uk public servers as the players there don't seem to be all "pros".

I had a hard time finding people that could challenge me....that was until my internet moved back into the stone age.

Believe me, playing against people of your ability will help you get nowhere. If you're all the same, you'll not learn anything. Just dump yourself into a normal public server where there are usually the good players and the really bad players, and you'll gradually learn the skills and tricks of the game, and hopefully watch yourself rise up the scoreboard.

The bots in CZ are actually quite challenging.

Bots are programed with ex_interp 0.09. Little buggers shoot you before they even see you. But if your sick of getting shot in the face constantly have a target practive with some bots to home your aim then go hit some servers.
But playing with people with a higher skill level than you can be very rewarding, watch them and pic up on some of their tricks and tactics.
