Firearms: Source, which some of you may know as the true, legitimate successor to the popular Half-Life mod Firearms, has a whole batch of new map screenshots and ingame models for us to admire, including a few from Halflife2.net forumite undertone - see the first two screenshots.[br]

Now it might seem like we haven't been getting much done with the lack of updates to the front page and the lack of posts in the developer journal section on the forums, but we've been putting the pedal to the proverbial metal, churning out content to liven up our maps. However its not just the props and visual spice that we've been adding to the game, the animators have been working hard, as has our coding department (Issa). The whole game is coming together, and as the testers may have said, its totally sweet. We do promise though, that you will not attain cavities by playing this game, however sweet it may be.
The full update and loads of media can be found at the FA:S website. Show your support!

looks nice !
..i like the tank model. :cat:

Looks horrible, the distant terrain, the sandbags, trees and that Tank! Looks like something from HL1.

Really? I thought it was done very neatly. Maybe the textures feel a bit too "clean" for a battlezone, but hopefully some bullet decals will change that when ingame :)

bahahaha awesome line ;p

the maps look like they're shaping up nicely, going for performance over details is nice too, should be fun to play :)

That's the problem.

Needs dirt, grunge, debry, explosion marks, mud, rust... it needs to look like a battlefield.

noted :)

although, it does tend to look more battle worn from the decals etc generated dynamically during game
