* Automated update to streamline product upgrades. Notification of an update is more prominent, and updates to Firefox may now be half a megabyte or smaller. Updating extensions has also improved.
* Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance.
* Drag and drop reordering for browser tabs.
* Improvements to popup blocking.
* Clear Private Data feature provides an easy way to quickly remove personal data through a menu item or keyboard shortcut.
* Answers.com is added to the search engine list.
* Improvements to product usability including descriptive error pages, redesigned options menu, RSS discovery, and "Safe Mode" experience.
* Better accessibility support including DHTML accessibility.
* Report a broken Web site wizard to report Web sites that are not working in Firefox.
* Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) including profile migration from Safari and Mac Internet Explorer.
* New support for Web Standards including SVG, CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6.
* Many security enhancements.
* List of notable bug fixes since Deer Park Alpha 2

If you used Deer Park Alpha 2, here is a list which shows you what's different.

Anyways, if you absolutely can't live without extensions or themes, then give this a few days, so the creators can release an update.

It's working smooth for me :D (Oh, and there is one small bug... While posting, there is some alignment issues on the right near emoticons. That's to do with the new beta though, hopefully the HL2.net web guys can fix it ;) )

Have fun guys! :)

There is no extension support for this?

There is, it's just that extensions will be broken because of a bunch of new things (updated renderer for starters). So give everything a week, and all your current extensions and themes should be ready to go on this new version.

Already FoxyTunes, AdBlock, and GMail Notifier have released updates, with more soon to come. :)

258285 - Find Toolbar sometimes appears (pops up) when typing/entering arbitrary characters in textareas/form input fields, FAYT (find as you type) activated.

Finally that bug is fixed :)

Edit: Dammit the screen keeps shaking all the time :(

Cool! Will download this when I get home. Will keep deer park alpha 2 installed for my usual browsing but will give it a proper test!

Downloading. Don't care about themes

Anyone know where I can find a HL2-based FireFox theme?

Anyone know how to remove search engines from the search engine list?

Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

Delete the .src and .png|.gif for the one you want.
