Firefox and my Uni connection ;(

Hello hello

Ever since I've been at Uni, I can't access any sites that aren't on the intranet through Firefox. IE works fine, for both intra and internet sites.

I have to use McAffee virus scan as part of the Uni's policy for internet access, so I'm wondering if that's the problem (I dunno if has a built in firewall, but I had to uncheck some options to allow IRC to work)...

If anyone can help me configure some settings so I can get back with FF I would be very grateful.

Hmm you'll have to give me a bit of a helping hand on this, I've been fortunate enough for browsers to work without giving me grief up till now. So...where am I looking for proxy settings?
