Firefox live bookmarking gone

You know the live bookmarking that comes with FF for the news headlines? Well all my bookmarks went out the window, including that. How do I get it back?

Can't. This happened last week. Backups only last 5 days ;(

this is proof that you should always save a permanent copy of your bookmarks - i'm glad i did
