First 8 Minutes of Resident Evil: Degeneration

Looks wretched.

I'm weary of waiting, I'm going to grab a taxi Mmmm yes I've got shine my monocle and write a memoir, then maybe I'll take the old Lassy out for a spin.

Predictable characters, cliche acting, terrible writing, even worse CG.

If by "long way from" you mean that Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was eons ahead of this in terms of plot, art style, and writing, then yes, you're absolutely correct.

Am I the only one to say this looks cool.

I haven't watched any of the final fantasy movies mind you..

oh god, that reporter at the beginning was arse-ugly.
 
Am I the only person who thought that looked good? I don't mean from a CGI perspective, but from an actual film perspective. I'm not talking about grade A stuff here, but better than say...every other game-to-movie conversion?
 
It looks awful. How can a feature length CG movie not be able to lip-sync to a point where it is even slightly close? I've seen student animations that blow this out of the water.
 
why do people in every zombie movie act like total retards.

*zombie starts walking towards a guy with a gun*
*guy just stares like a total dipshit*
*zombie bites guy in the face*
*guy goes "wow i totally didn't see that coming"*

FFS when you see a rotten pile of flesh attacking you you'd at least move, let alone use the gun

why does every zombie movie have cheap scare tricks, it's like without these a zombie movie can't even exist.

i'm really pissed.


oh yea...and there's always the odd scared kid running in a horde of zombies, stops there screaming and then some hero comes to the rescue....****!!!!1
 
It doesn't make since why Square Pictures went bankrupt. If there is this much of a cult following from what I am reading from these posts, it just proves that Final Fantasy made a good impact on alot of people.
 
Spirits Within was a tremendous flop and 90% of the fanbase reviles it.

Meanwhile, Advent Children is getting another release.

People are stupid.

Personally I liked Spirits Within. The CG art was fan****ingtastic and story was original as well. I couldnt really give a damn about the Final Fantasy name though, since I never liked any of the games except for FF9
 
That's why people are stupid. It was a GOOD movie.

"But it's not Final Fantasy! Waah!"

Seriously if they'd just billed it "Spirits Within" without the FF title tacked on it would've done a lot better. Maybe Square Pictures would still be around. Well...no, no probably not.
 
This movie looks horrid, and not in a good way.

Also, Spirits Within sucked.
