So this morning I went to my college for a kind of introduction day. Getting up at 8am was a bit of blow compared to my usual 10am but I was well on the way there...

I got there, and I knew some people which was pretty cool and we got shown around and stuff along those lines.

That was pretty much all I did there. I returned home at 3pm. :|

ICT Applied and iMedia. Hoping to get a career in Games/Level Design. :D

Nice, I still remember my first day at Uni. The whole class got kidnapped by a gang of ninjas during a fake lesson and was forced to parade the streets along with the rest of the Uni newbies :)

LOL amazing.

I have freshers week coming up for my Uni in September some time, looking forward to moving into my new accommodation suite and the pubs in Bristol of course :D

You will sway from that career choice, that was my career choice until I got to the uni open days and asked about them, and said there are no jobs there (basically saying, if you are smart, you would choose a different course).

Well college was miles better than secondary, its a lot more relaxed, but its a shit lot harder though, and when you get through to second year of doing Biology, History and Computing, things start to get a little boring. Glad im finished though, just anxious to see how I did in my A-Levels

I'm aware of that. I was planning to move countries to get a job anyway.

don't listen to them, they are f u cking lying their asses off to you. The only real concern of the bigwigs is whether they get state funding again the next year, which I've deduced is determined by a number of factors, one being graduates and their degrees. Something about which programs in the school get used like their supposed to whether, and whether the staff are gearing students towards those whether there are careers in that field or not. How the **** would they know if there are any openings? I guess they call and e-mail everysingle place of employment in America. That's just what I like to believe; I'm big on conspiracies against me.
