First Hitman Teaser Released

It better not be another Transport like movie. Looks okay, teaser looks better than expected. Also, if Jesper Kyd is not doing the score, then its not classed as a Hitman movie. I'm still skeptical if it will be anygood since its a game-to-movie-adaptation.

Looks cool, watched it without sound but im still not feeling hitmans look. That actors face just doesnt fit. Well see tho.

not too bad, the chick is hot, love the bit where he slowly raises his silenced baller...

Saw it with sound and it does look much better now. His look will grow on me im sure.

Better than I was expecting, but not exactly 'for the win' if you know what I mean.

And honestly, the explosions looked really out of place.

FTW. Hitman is like the best game (apart from Half Life and Splinter Cell{When I say this I always refer to it as a series not as a single game}), I cannot wait for this movie, I'm ecstatic, this area is now filled with euphoria, it's like this movie is a drug and I'm addicted.

Its looking pretty sweet i think, see what happens.

What's with this "man will walk the earth to destroy evil?"

47's a ****ing hitman. An indifferent one at that. He doesn't deal in good or evil crap.

But you penis went up didn't it.

I for one love the Hitman games and if this French director ruins it, i'm going to have to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And i'm all out of bubble gum.

Looks like it could be half decent at least (one of the better video game movies maybe?)

Doesn't look bad at all, but agreed. Though what's with all the explosions? He's a silent assassin!

"Doesn't look bad?" Are we watching the same trailer? I've checked, checked and double checked and it's the same crock of shit everytime. I'm with Deus on the bullshit of good and evil.

Looks pretty good, of course they'll have to change things to make it politically correct or w/e... but it looks like it'll be fun to watch.

As far as i know Jesper Kyd is not providing the score.
Which is a huge let down of course.

Even though i like Timothy Olyphant as an actor(loved his performance in Deadwood) he just doesn't fit this role whatsoever.

We'll see how it turns out.
I Am not expecting to be awed though.

doesnt look dark enough for my liking
and ive said it before and ill say it again:
they should have cast some no name guy to play the role
cause timothy olyphant is not convincing IMO
i'll give it a chance though :P

How can I put this? When I watch a video game movie, my expectations are somewhere around

here.

Dunno. Don't think the actor's face fits quite right. It could go either way, though I'm leaning more towards the negative side.

Why are they putting a love interest in this?

Because 99% of potentially good plotlines have to be spoiled by Hollywood by adding a love interest. Usually to appeal to a wider audience (ie, women), but usually ends up detracting from the film's effectiveness.

His face structure doesn't quite match Agent 47's. however, his facial structure is for the most part, exaggerated. BUT! what he is missing, are the lighter cold blue eyes.

I should bic my head and play agent 47 :P

He better not just shoot everything up, or this is an utter waste of a movie. I want disguises, poisonings, cover ups, etc.

Only part of the trailer i liked was when the ballers became the T, rest was a load of bollocks.

i thought it was ok... there were 2 scenes i liked:

1st - when hes walkin thru the crowd, that resembles the game and it was well done

2nd - when he points his silenced pistol at a guy in the toilet, that gave me the shivers :D and again like the game...

Why didn't they make 47 the villain?

Why didn't they make 47 the villain?

WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE 47 THE VILLAIN?

WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE 47 THE VILLAIN?

Because he isn't a villain in a traditional sense, he is a complex character, but he isn't some kind of "good" guy vigilante like the trailer makes him out to be...

Does anybody know who that chick is in the red dress?

That scene with the woman better actually be a hit, because Agent 47 DOESN'T ****ING LOVE! I don't like the look of the guy they chose for the role either. He just doesn't look cold to the soul. That said, it still looks better than most videogame based movies.

I just saw this in the movie theater. Looks pretty cool.

Damn, my thread was a day before this one, had the HD trailer, and then was locked. Meh, I don't care, lol.

They needed to chose an actor with a "cut" / muscular head; don't tell me it's hard to find one. The guy from transporters would have been a good choice, as long as he didn't say much or overhype the action. Just silent, stealthy, fast quick kill, gone.

QFT

Jason (the guy from the Transporter) would make a terrible choice.

He's not reserved, quiet, or polite. Both actors lack the cold blue eyes and a chiseled face.

It's hard to match the facial features of Agent 47 because they're exaggerated, but at least get his eyes right and someone more muscular than the current actor.

I just don't understand why they didnt cast Jason Statham...
He would be perfect for this deal. But no, they picked gaylord...
Great!

now that I think about, problably they cast this one for sex appeal
