Well I went to my first LAN event at the weekend...It was fun but an enlightening experience...For the first time I understood some of the personalities that are represented in web comics and jokes...
Met people who are really into their RPGs, CS, Computer Technicalities and everything...Guy beside me kept saying "woot" if he killed somone or just muttering "boom, headshot". Got really moody when losing or when he died though!
Another guy had his computer named and listed ALL the specs to me...
Got to play some games that I had never before such as Battlefield (I'm quite terrible at flying anything it seems ), Day of Defeat (which was VERY good). Also got games of CS (which I still hate, and suck at...), Call of Duty 2 (which I improved at but don't like the Deathmatch mode of - a bit pointless...), Flatout (4 player Demolition Derby ) and Unreal Tournament 2004...
A fun 30-hour LAN...
