While watching the new CS:S video on gamespot, I noticed that when you die, the camera flies backward from your body to show your figure falling to the ground in the new ragdoll fashion. This camera-leaves-body feature is just like the current one for CS. Sure, this allows you to watch the ragdoll physics in awe, but you will be able to see enough of this as you kill the enemy.
I suggest that after you are killed, you continue to view the world from a first-person perspective. Your view would move in accordance to your ragdoll body, and very quick-like the contrast between light and dark would grow. So after say 1/2 to 1 second, you see darkness with blurs of light where the lightest spots on the screen were, and then your screen would fade all the way to black. Also, all sound would become more and more muffled until you cannot hear a single thing. After this, you would continue to view with the normal spectator mode.
This would add more immersion to the game. It is the one thing I noticed lacking from CS today when I was playing it. I think this would be a nice, new feature. What do you think?
