First PS3 bundle

LOL I don't think the PS3 is gonna sell out the first day.
 
lol, the user comments on that article is filled to the brim with fanboyism... Just go with Wii60 and then a PS3 when the price drops.
 
There's no way i'm paying that much for a games console!! Sony are so ...

£549 + Canadian Exchange Rate + Shipping and Handling + Taxes = :eek:

...and this bundle isn't even including the recommended HDTV.


It'd be cheaper to buy 5 Nintendo Wii's priced at $300 Canadian.
 
If anyone buys a PS3 they should be shot, raped, and given a PC instead

for 1k I could upgrade my computer to a ****ing ubertroncompuiter that prints money and shoots down airplanes
 
I'll get a Wii, then wait for a PS3 price drop and the games I'm waiting for to come out.
 
My friend would buy it...and sell it for $2000.

I'd then get him to buy me a Wii. :D
 
I hope it isn't like Xbox360 where they go for like 8k on eBay. Deliberatly short supplied them.

That's a pretty shitty "bundle" if you ask me...with that kind of money i could by a pretty good guitar, and then go to the streets, play a bit, earn more money, and buy an even better guitar, and go professional, and then buy thousands of ps3's just so I could smash them and post the videos of the smashing on the net ^^

But please, there's only one game maybe two that people will like in that bundle. They will need better bundle games, like games with the words "Final", "Gear", or "Creed" in them.

Bundles at launch are usually pretty lame anyway. Of course, the DS Lite has recently turned that notion on its head though! Some nice nice bundles there!
 
What's with some of these folk and Wiis? Have I missed something, or is it just 'cause where I come from? Folk around this neck of the woods are spitting on the Wii, think the 360 was born prematurely with a silver spoon stuck up it's behind, and expect the ps3 to knock them all for 6. And is that price in American or Aus?
 
There's no way I'm going to be buying any bundles or a PS3 for that matter. Overpriced and over-hyped.

Final Fantasy? sure, 1 title will make the whole console....

MGS4? Same class as Final Fantasy, a bunch of people will buy it, then forget about it once they've beaten it

Dude, if anyone is going to be beating anyone in this gen its going to be the Wii over all! The two big expensive machines will be busy fighting over the same marketshare and the Wii will take everything else and probably much of the market that Sony/MS want so badly! Things will be very different this time around and I hope that this gen really reinforces the fact that slick graphics do not necesary make a fun, successful game!
