Flash player keeps messing up for me.

Whenever I use firefox, it seems my active x flash player, or whatever it is... always gets corrupted. how can I figure out what is causing it, and where can I download new versions of it to reinstall?

Personally, I would recommend not using Active X with Firefox and leave that only enabled on Internet Explorer. When you go to a random site just browsing, the site can easily take advantage of that and give you some nice spyware. But when you go to a site specifically that has it then I just switch to Internet Explorer. Active X is a big security risk even if it's used by other sites in productive ways.

Flash is something different and if this is the problem I'd see about uninstalling and reinstall flash. I havn't tried to uninstall this myself so I'm not sure how to go about it off the top of my head.

Do you know any other details on the problem?

Oh, okay. THere's just so many damn websites nowadays that use it... it sucks. No safer alternatives to it while still in firefox?
