So the first episode is tonight. I missed the first half of it already, so i'll probably watch the full thing on hulu later. My friend says it's a awesome show. Hopefully he's right.

Very intriguing who Dominic Monaghan plays as and they spoiled most of the season with the previews! I actually think V looks better but this is neat as well. I always think of this show as what happened when Desmond didn't type in the numbers and the world had their flash forward. Feels like it could be linked to LOST.

i think it is linked to LOST. i saw the Oceanic poster in the previews. also the 1st episode was really neat. i wonder how this show will pan out though. also i'm glad more and more reality tv shows are dying

I really liked the first episode.
And yeah, they ****ing spoiled most of the god damn season with the previews, Jesus Christ.

I was watching just for a "Next time on..." and they go on for like 5 minutes on what we'll expect over the entire season.

Aside from that, watching this show is bringing back the feelings I got from when I first watched Lost.
Really interested in what's going to happen and confused by it all.

yeah but for me LOST was giving info much too slow and although I'll finish season 5 someday and watch the rest, the show moves to slow sometimes. as for FlashForward....that little 3 min preview thing has all ready disappeared from my head

I've finally watched the episode.... and wow! That was pretty awesome. Lots of suspense and mystery. I think this is going to be one of those awesome shows that comes around every once in a while.

the world just went to shit after the equivalent of several million concurrent 9/11's and the FBI agent and doctor are able to go back home (he even fixes a garage) and sleep that night? I understand that this is on a TV budget but I thought the disaster was glossed over really quickly -- this could easily have been a 2 hour pilot, felt very condensed as a result.

That said the season preview they showed at the end does look promising.

Yeah, I felt that this should've been a 2 hour pilot, hell even a 3 or 4 hour miniseries event.
Everything felt extremely rushed.

But, I just look at it like there's plenty of other people to take their places.

I'll add that the pilot was rushed and the bad actors didn't help. Basically I'll say the person at the stadium is one of the few who are immune to the flashes. Charlie is one of the leaders of a Neo-Nazi/Communist terrorist group. Their motive is probably trying to overthrow the government by using these flashes. Penny and the main character daughter is kidnapped. This is why the main character keeps his daughters wrist band for hope.

Now LOST is way better and if the pilot doesn't wow you, it's not worth it:

Right off the bat it catches your attention and imagination by thinking "why is a man in a suit, in a jungle, and hurt"?

I'm pretty sure you can safely watch Flash forward and not have to worry about ABC pulling the plug on Lost, so feeling the need to convince everyone that Lost is the "better" show seems a bit unnecessary tbh. Why not just enjoy both? Lost has its final season coming up, it makes sense that ABC would want to get a show in the works to pick up the reins afterwards.

I thought the pilot was fairly entertaining. Sure we didn't see the entire world go to shit, but you have to be realistic with TV budgets and what's possible and what's not. Sure a few more explosions and shit would of added a lot, but the focus of the show isn't ' 2 and a half minutes and there is worldwide disaster' but more about 'what occurred during those 2 and a half minutes? and why did it happen?' It's an interesting premise, and I'll be watching more to see where it goes. Could of perhaps done with less 'God did this!!' chatter though, and I'm not really invested in the sponsor chap, mainly because that beard looks worse than the crap they make Jack wear in Lost.

What troubled me most was seeing Roger Stirling's wife getting down and dirty as a babysitter, first a lush now an adulterer? I knew that marriage wouldn't last....

Already forgetting about the show eh?

This week's episode didn't really add much else to the story except for maybe the last 15 minutes of the episode.
A bit disappointing... hopefully next week's reveals a lot more.

It's shit, I don't like the feel of the show, feels like there nothing there, nothing is gripping.

yeah unlike Fringe which hits you like punch to the gut every other week. i hope this show develops quicker and theres another blackout or something

Kinda revealing in the latest episode, but I have no clue how it all will turn out. This show needs a little bit more action and it needs to be quick or its going to get stale fast

I liked the reveal at the end of this weeks episodes, it catch my eyes, that was a about it.

FlashForward anyone?

I sort of like it so far. I'm 80% sure the guy they saw in the baseball stadium was the G-man.

I actually thought the same thing when I saw that. I was instinctively waiting for him to fix his tie before heading inside.

Also the show is pretty damn good. Glad to see that it got picked up for the rest of the season.
