I have had this problem for a while now and decided to ask here as someone may have had the same problem, i have searched google and stuff but can't find any answers.
So........
When i switch my Pc on it starts ok till it gets to the boot screen (you know the one which says Windows XP professional with the blue thing going down the bottom) and then the blue thing will stop and the screen will flash blue and green really fast like flikering styley and then after that the PC starts normally and no other problems.
Couple of things you may want to know:
1st my ATI RADEON 9800Pro went wrong in the pc just before it started happening like windows wouldn't start because at the boot screen the screen would all scramble up and be all multicoloured you couldn't make out anything so it was a big problem.
2nd I used a bootskin program before the problem started and reverted back to normal windows one as one of the skins did not work properly then i uninstalled the program.
so any help would be appreciated!!!!
