hmm I had that, but maybe it removed my codec after I uninstalled Dr.Divx (it sucked)

I'd have to do it when I'm online playing with voice chat people... :hmph:

It does repeat it back to you in the mic test, but it's hard to hear. I can do that though only take a few mins.

windows sound recorder, start it, maximize cs:S then record, tab out then cut before (after you go to when you start talking) then cut after (after you are done)

or actually nm, I will just wait to hear it for myself
