I don't think response time has ever been an issue on CRTs. I'm not sure, but I thought their timings were always in single figures.

On a CRT you could effectively consider the "response time" to be 1 divided by the refresh rate, meaning that even at 60 Hz the "response time" is better than the fastest LCD, but a CRT has no response time as such.

I got a 22ms responce Sony and it works great for HL and with it's added brightness, its better than any CRT I've seen.
