Flickering monitor related to HDR lighting?

Hello. Ever since I started playing DOD:S, it seems that my monitor has begun flickerign ocasionally. It gets really annoying. I have Geforce 6600 GT, and I have Full HDR turned on for DOD:S. Is it possible that my 6600 GT can't handle the full settings and is starting to burn out because of it? Please offer your opinions on this. It'd really help.

Not yet, but I will next time I play. It seems to flicker more around when I play DOD:S, so I think it's that, but more quantitive data could never hurt.

Good shout, also just have a good look in the graphics settings in DOD:S just to see if there is some dodgy setting that might be messing it up. Also look at your display settings in windows in the nVidia Control panel, not sure what its called. Something could have changed a setting that is also causing the problem.

Also have you tried turning down the HDR settings as your card may be struggling with it, although I'm not totally sure about that. Worth a try i'd say.
