omg, warez.

*quick search*

ok apparantly its open flight format, or something to do with VRML..

*more searching*

The FLT format is from the MultiGen & other 3D scene modelling tools
from MultiGen Inc, formerly known as Software Systems. It is one of
the 3 or 4 formats commonly used in IRIS Performer applications. The
FLT specification for the current versions is proprietary to
MultiGen. To be given code for the format you'll need to contact
them and sign a nondisclosure agreement.

so if he is warezing then they'll probably be useless as I imagine they'll want proof of purchase before even bothering with the NDA.

Depends upon what you are downloading.
Here's an idea... try a search engine...
There are multiple types of "FLT" files...

"Any user program that runs on uClinux must be in FLT format.
That is the only native binary format for uClinux (currently)."
"MultiGen flt files"
"OpenFlight (flt) files"
"Autodesk Animator FLC/FLT File Format "

hey thehunter. I've noticed how you sometimes just quote other posts without writing anything else, I was just wondering why. I've noticed sometimes others do it too, but I'm gonna ask you before I forget :)

Well, I guess it can also mean that you have the same question as someone in the post too.

yeah that too.. Before you said, I was just wondering if its the forum hiccuping and people's messages going astray, or accidently clicking submit before writing anything and being unable to delete their message

thanks again :)

well FLT = Fairlight is a very known warez group, so I assumed you cant discuss it since its warez, but I guess I was wrong.

flt is also a bunch of different file formats as it turns out

Fairlight was also a great little game on the spectrum that spawned I think one or two sequels
