If you're into Hard Rock to Metal, you'll like Flyleaf. They're a band from Temple, Texas (W00t) and they're actually pretty good. For the first time since Courtney Love, there is a female frontwoman who can sing, AND scream. I was pretty impressed with some of their guitar rifts, and drum beats. The songs each have their own feeling, of sadness. Though the song ends with an uplifting lyric. They are a Christian Rock band (I'm Catholic) but their songs don't drip with God, Jesus, and Love.
They are Hard Rock, with heavy guitar and bass rifts, and their singer can scream! (not the best i've heard, but hey, it's new and refreshing). And the fact that they have a lot of energy. They are doing farely well for their first self-titled album released in 2005.
They don't tour on Christian Group festivals like most bands, currently they are with Seether and a few other bands.
Go to their site and listen to 2 of their songs that are free to listen to, I'm So Sick, and Fully Alive.
But everyband has a weakness, their singer can be a little tireing to listen to, so i don't sugest listening to them day after day, they are a great musically talented band.
