What Do you guys think of a football mod?
Here is what i am thinking.
Obiviosly i would have to wrtie a bunch of rules and stuff, but as for the gameplay.
Ok
It can be an online mod, people are auto/given a manipulator gun.
There is a model of a football.
people will grab the foot ball and jetisen it at a far away player. Then the other player has to catch it in mid air, wiht the gun, And resume runing to the goal.

Interceptions (oh god I hope he meant American football, dont wanna be ridiculed by all the non-americans) seem really easy, the opponent would just get in front of the intended reciever and use his manipulator. And also, making a football mod with all the rules and stuff seems like the game will be slow as hell.

A better idea would be creating a sport with a ball that is fast-paced, and involve killing (hey, this is a FPS)

yeah there's death ball,, and even before that there was tp_soccer for firearms halflife ( I hear the scoreboard took over 400 entities alone)

And because of all the brits on this server I have no idea whether you guys are talking about soccer or north american football

Yeah, all those people above sound like they've never played this mod, WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN!!!11 IOS doesn't need no stinking manipulator gun either, it actually lets you kick the ball with your feet.

Hopefully they convert to HL2, the ball has cooool physics too.

I think American footabll (gridiron) would make a much funner game then soccer.

IOS is average.....

Would be much better on Half-Life 2.
