I can say I have experience. I've taken my dads guitar and strummed it a few times. I still can't get any decent notes out. And I'm talking about ANY instrument. Shit, I own an electric keyboard and I mess around on it now and then, but it's just depressing when I try to do something, and I fail. I honestly think my mind is incapable of learning music.

I think musical talent and rhythm are acquired abilities, although some people are naturals at it. Maybe you just haven't worked at it enough.

I will say this: I've played for about 10 years, and I really, really sucked ass for about 8 of them. The only reason I got better, naturally, was because I worked on it.
