For everyone with freezing problems...

There is nothing wrong with your steam or pc...its just being steam. Your just gonna have to wait it out. My steam use to freeze whenever i did anything, now it works perfectly. Just keep trying and be patient..

Yeah, mine used to lock up all the time but I just let it stay locked up and after a while it resumed what it was doing. Now it doesn't lock up anymore. But it takes forever for Steam itself to start up.

i got that and all the other gcf files from a bittorent site
dod, tfc, ricochet, dmc downloaded them all and now steam works and i didnt slow down the servers for other people
