So Adebayor scores against former club Arsenal and feels it necessary to run to the other end of the pitch and rub it in the fans, his former colleagues and his former manager's faces. Now yes, I am an Arsenal supporter and was largely pissed off with that considering I was a big supporter of him and was sad to see him leave.

Now I can see the intentions, heat of the moment, wants to give back what apparantly gave to him, but everyone i have spoken to about it just said it made him look like an unprofessional wanker, basically spitting in Wenger's and Arsenal's face, the club that made him what he is. There was just no need for it.

Now I have seen that happen before and got over it, but what really pissed me off, was the fact that he kicked van Persie in the face when he was on the floor intentionally, and didn't even apologize. van Persie spoke out after the match basically saying wtf did I do to deserve that? So yeh, he definately prooved what a complete tosser he is.

Your thoughts?

Football and football fans are the best and worst things in the world, respectively.

I think what he did was Okay. **** Arsenal and a bit of violence makes it a more interesting game.

The stamp on Van Persie was disgusting and he should get a lengthy ban for that. As for the celebration in front of the Arsenal fans it was completely idiotic and irresponsible trying to provoke the supporters. I hope he gets what he deserves.

He's since apologised, but probably only because he knows he could be in the shit. It wasn't acceptable, but if you pay footballers weekly wages which would be a yearly wage to a normal person, what can you expect other than twattish tendencies?

This

The guys a moron.

I lol'd when I saw it tbh. Love the comments from the journos afterwards: ''If he ran that quick when with Arsenal, they might not have hated him so much'' etc.

Yeah.

He gets £170,000 a week. That would take the average person around 4-6 years.

gotta wonder who the retard was that coined this sport as "football...

Naturally I grew up playing "soccer" but football just makes more sense.
