For those of you with GTA : SA how well does it run on your ps2?

well, im f*cked. my PS2 is 2 years old as well, and its half broken. ive been feeding it PS1 games for ages, to get it back on its feet.... GTA:SA may be too much for it in its weakened state... 
oh well, who cares. even if it only lasts for 1 hour before blowing up in my face, killing me instantly- at least my last hour will be a happy one

I have a 2-3 year old PS2. I haven't noticed anything jump..unless you mean popups when my PS2 can't catch up with how fast I'm driving. Every so often I'll see blue where there's a crack between a wall and road...but it lasts less than a second or so. A few short fps slowdowns..but nothing big or that affects gameplay. I've had one showstopping bug that's hardly reproducable.
I was driving by the airport with some police chasing me. I flipped over towards the terminal, just then a cop car exploded, mine exploded as I got out of it onto a ticket buying machine that was out of order (didn't see it at the time) as it was loading the ticket machine it just sat there with a black screen. Since then I have had absolutely no problems there or anywhere else.
