Just thought id let you guy's know that there are Nvidia "Beta" Driver versions 52.70 and 53.03 floating around the internet. I myself tried 53.03 and have noticed a substantial improvement in Performance and Image Quality. :)

I will post a like for those of you who are interested.

Come on, live DANGERIOUSLY! An improved IQ and FPS couldn't possibly have any detremental effects, just ask people who overclock their machines without properly cooling them.

Pretty much since my sarcasm was a little confusing there, a beta driver that has that effect may simply be overclocking the card. The reason it is beta is because they may be testing it on the cards to see if the heat increase is going to cause a problem. This may not be the issue at all, but it is an idea, and something you should probably think about before throwing the beta drivers on.

What are you talking about? :dozey:

What the driver confirmed does is reimplement the "optimisations" in 3DMark. And alot of fixes. And I've seen some notes on smoother gameplay in some games. That's about it. Its just to read... FORUMS! :)

I hadn't read the information on these beta drivers, so I just sorda left it open as a possibility. I remember I used to read about beta drivers for some cards that would effectively overclock them, and make the heating dangerious for the card if it's in an alreaty warm system.

Though I probably read those on some forums back in the day, so who knows if they're right or not.

Those were probably hacked drivers than betas, I've used quite a pile of beta drivers and none of them overclocked.
